The "right" mix of construction intelligence and insanity.
The Trailer is managed and maintained by Eric Vechan. He's liked building stuff since he built "T" kites and flew them in the West Texas breeze as a preschooler. He eventually grew up a bit and got a college degree in Construction Science and then began working full time. While working full time Eric earned a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy, AKA a PostHole Digger in our industry) degree in Construction Management and Civil Engineering. Being a passionate Posthole Digger, he has taught several university courses with experience levels ranging from inexperienced students to seasoned industry executives looking to take their careers another step forward.

If you're like Eric, you like the variety that daily life in a construction job trailer provides. The Trailer has been designed to mirror jobsite trailer activities and discussions. Daily Dirt covers (almost) daily topics similar to pre task huddles. The Trailer Talk section of this website is all about the storytelling and shenanigans that happen in and around a jobsite trailer. It might even contain an obviously fake construction news story from time to time. More sections will be added as needed to provide ever increasing value to our industry and The Trailer website visitors.
