As with most things politicians try to do, the Biden infrastructure investment plan is a bit slow out off the starting line. The process wreaks of (in)efficiencies. There's still debate on what classifies as infrastructure. There's also debate on how to fund it and the exact amount the final plan will be worth (Biden campaigned on $2 trillion). I am personally not a big fan of spending money we don't necessarily have but if we are going to add to the national debt at least we are keeping what we spend money on close to the taxpayers who are at least partially funding it. Done right, improving our aging infrastructure is a good thing. The bottom line is that better infrastructure is benefits everyone.
