Are you a boots or no boots in The Trailer kind of builder? Early in my career I'd lace my boots up before I left for work in the morning and wouldn't take them off until I came home in the evening. Now, I put my boots on in The Trailer if I need to do some work on site and take them off sometime after I return to The Trailer. I am not totally sure of why I changed my boot wearing habits. I do sit at a desk more even when I am on site than I did in my early construction days. Business casual shoes are much more comfortable when sitting at a desk. I do know people who have been swapping boots and shoes back and forth throughout their whole career starting with their engineer days up to their projet manager and/or superintendent days.
What's your preference? Is their a reason or logic for your preference? Also, are you a cowboy style or lace up style boots person?
