As medical and recreational marijuana use becomes legal in more states, facilities to grow, process and sell this product will be needed. What may seem like a relaxed and a bit of a hippy run business actually has some pretty sophisticated players up and down the supply chain. For instance, the grow and processing facilities are very sophisticated and advanced. Everything from very specific light, temperatures, humidity, air makeup and more are controlled down to the minute detail during operations which means that it must be designed and built into the project by top notch designers and builders. There are still some national regulatory and legal concerns that are hold back growth at times but contractors in green friendly states are jumping on the bandwagon to make some green and build their resume in preparation for full scale marijuana industry AEC needs.
