Can't Make This Up

Stupid people will walk through spike strips so a sign isn't going to work.

A recent news article (https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2020/02/16/teen-girl-drives-stolen-golf-cart-off-2-story-construction-building-san-jose/) describes how two teenage girls snuck onto a jobsite and eventually drove a golf cart off the second story. It sounds more like something some teenage boys in a Seth Rogen pull than real life but it is true. How do you plan, prepare for and prevent something like this? You can place security and access restrictions around and throughout the jobsite. You can store and secure potential attractive nuissances before each night and weekend begins. You can even take more steps to prevent absurd events from ocurring. The problem is you can't fix stupid and stop stubbornly dumb people from hurting themselves or others. So we can do our best to prevent all known issues from happening and then get insurance for the rest.
