According to a recent AGC news release, construction jobs were up in November 2020 from October 2020 while unemployment was up nearly 75% from the numbers in October 2019. Any job increases are a good thing at this point but we are still quite a bit lower than a year ago. AGC economists also warned that project cancellations are likely and that the upcoming PPP tax bill will likely hurt job gains.
