Contractors Bullish on ConTech During COVID Driven Uncertainties

2020 has been full of ups and downs and even a few sideways juke moves. Bisnow recently shared an article in which they interviewed industry leaders at several different construction companies. Rising material and labor costs, social distancing needs and difficultly finding skilled labor were concerns by all. The ability to use the right technology to build safely and profitably during bad times and good was discussed. Drones, 3D scanning, image capture, AI and even robotics were discussed as today's, tomorrow's and long term solutions. More "threatening" tools like robotics are even starting to be embraced by people all over the construction supply chain - trades, trade groups and construction firms are becoming more familiar with the potential of robotics and embracing the benefits over the fear of robot overlords taking over the world.

While technology (tools) can't yet build jobs by itself, the right tools can help teams outperform their skills and abilities. With the right tools, a group of construction pros can build great things and build a better world.
