Corporate Meetings

Corporate meetings are something every company has and every employee attends from time to time. At larger companies, they can get quite large and have attendees from all over the country. These large gatherings are essentially internal conferences for the attendees. When put together well, attendees easily get to hear from internal and external experts in construction industry related disciplines. Employees get to see what leading individuals, projects and teams are doing. No matter how much knowledge is shared, one thing that happens is the awkward conversations between people who worked together years ago and/or only see each other around once a year at these events. We get to try to remember details about each other and while doing our best to track conversations full of personal inaccuracies. Depending on your perspective, the skeleton crew of managers that stay on projects to keep them running are the lucky, or maybe unlucky, ones.
