I once worked with a superintendent who setup a recurring meeting for every Friday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm. This sounds brutal. The trick? He was the only invitee. The meeting prevented other team members from setting up late week meetings and helped to make sure he didn't get bogged down in the trailer when he could be in the field getting things finished/prepped for the weekend. It also set his time and Friday up to roll into and enjoy the weekend.
