Ginger Bread House

My family's best attempt. Fondent people in the front yard look like a crime scene. Housekeeping in the background could be better.

This is sort of work and construction related but mainly on the domestic front. Does anyone else buy the Ginger Bread House kits to make with their kids (or maybe by themselves)? Is it a major struggle to get the four walls and two roof pieces in place and keep them there? I'm not exactly a craft professional but when I have gotten to get my hands dirty at work in the past, I feel like I've done way better than I do with these little houses. Maybe it's that my follow on crew (my kids) doesn't have quite the patience required to let the frosting between the different pieces firm up before moving onto the next phase. Maybe I'm just not that great at detailed work - I am a civil construction guy afterall.

This had to have been made by a showoff or a professional.
