Gummy


Gummy bears. No actual relation to this word and definition. Do not try to make paint or paint with gummy bears.

As defined by the Construction Dictionary by NAWIC, gummy is the drag on a brush from a sticky paint or gummy paint. Causes can include cold temperatures and high evaporation of paint solvent. Not to be confused with actual gum or gummy bears. Do not put gummy paint in your mouth or attempt to consume.
