How to Build a Better America

No matter where you stand politically and how well you might think the government spends money, the US infrastructure stinks (ASCE Infrastructure Report Card). We need more infrastructure and we definitely need better (refurbished) existing infrastructure. In general, good infrastructure helps people young and old, rich and poor, educated and uneducated live better. It is vital for the health of our economy, as well as, the health of everyone living in America. Building and maintaining US infrastructure also keeps money and jobs in America with our families and neighbors. The incoming presidential administration is likely going to implement a large infrastructure investment program which interests and excites construction industry leaders. The infrastructure investment plan will likely try to fund quite a few different national needs and, if the government is going to spend money, building a better America is a pretty good way to go.
