"I VOTED" stickers are all over the place today. The intent is to create pride in voting and encourage others to exercise their right to vote. For nearly every other day of the year, I propose construction pros wear "I BUILT IT" stickers when at work and away from work when pride in their work swells to a size that can't be contained in the trailer. Maybe everyday is too much but I think it would be pretty dadgum cool if AEC pros wore "I BUILT IT" stickers once a year or so to encourage discussion on how important the built environment is and to highlight how much of the world we live in is the built environment that is built by hard working Americans all around us.
