Geotechnical reports and geotechnical construction are usually pretty boring. A large job in Utah hasn't been lucky enough to encounter boring geotechnical conditions during construction. The $490 million reconstruction of US Highway 89 has encountered several buried issues including very large boulders which take quite a bit of awkward and inconvenient work to remove from the project alignment.
