Most of us construction pros have felt the pinch of increasing costs and delivery delays. Recent surveys and indices provided by AGC have confirmed that these issues aren't isolated and impacting the construction supply chain across the country. While not good, we can usually pass the increased costs and price to clients. Right now some clients are essentially wanting contractors to build work for little to no profit. They just aren't interested in paying more or waiting longer for construction services and materials during the pandemic. This is understandable but puts construction pros in a tough spot where everything is more difficult and expensive to make happen right now. One way we can get around this is to demonstrate the value and need of our services during tough times. When something is valued, it will always be wanted and needed.
