Apparently, the pandemic is pushing companies and leaders to focus on their people. People are realizing that people are important. I'm being a bit sarcastic because in many cases, what is helpful during the pandemic is equally important during normal times. What helps companies survive in tough times helps them thrive in better times. Tough times and struggle simply highlight the importance of good business practices, top notch leadership and treating people right. It's a subject on it's own but companies that apply servant leadership (serving people and treating them right) do well in good times and quite a bit better than average in hard times. The bottom line is construction pros should treat their people right no matter the circumstances or economic environment. Check out this article for detailed discussion on what companies and do for their people to be resilient during this pandemic and future economic struggles.
