Since the FIU bridge collapse, FIGG Engineering has had a few more issues on other projects in various states. Most recently, FIGG is in the middle of some drama and power struggles on a Connecticut bridge project where they were awarded a contract for construction inspection services. While it sounds like they might have messed up on the FIU bridge, the recent issues seem to be more of a difference in opinion that regularly happens on projects and usually gets settled during design and construction meetings.
